Welcome to the Privacy Policy of FeiMu, the trading and engineering service operated by Jiujiang Feimu Trading Co., Ltd. Here we describe, in plain words, the information this website and our teams handle and every measure we take to look after it. Nothing on these pages is a trap or a trick; we simply ask that you read carefully before you send us your details.

1. Introduction

This website, www.feimu.lat, belongs to the display and projection integration service built around a single view: that a room improves when its screen, its projector and its control all behave together. To share that view with us you may write to our engineers, ask for a quote or book a demonstration. Each of those actions involves a small amount of your personal information, and this policy exists so you always know what happens to it.

We treat your trust as seriously as we treat a half-finished install. That means clear language, no buried clauses and honest answers. If anything here reads like a puzzle rather than a promise, write to mail@feimu.lat and a person will answer.

2. Who we are

The controller of your personal information is Jiujiang Feimu Trading Co., Ltd., a company whose workplace sits at Room A2-101-547, Zone A, Yangjie (Guanger Digital Culture Park), Lushan North Road, Xunyang District, Jiujiang - 332000, China (CN). Our public registrations describe our activity as computer integrated systems design and the design and related trades inside that field.

When this policy uses the words we, us, our or the Company, it means Jiujiang Feimu Trading Co., Ltd. and the staff and engineers who work under the FeiMu name. FeiMu is the brand you meet on the screen of this site and at your venue; the Company is the legal body that answers for your data.

3. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal information collected through this website, through email or telephone conversations with our team, and through paperwork prepared for a service agreement. It does not cover how third party websites handle your data when you follow a link away from this site; we list that point again under links below.

The policy applies across regions. Wherever a privacy law applies to you, we aim to meet the higher standard described here, so you do not need to guess which rule protects you on a given day. You are welcome to rely on it whether you live beside the culture park in Jiujiang or many time zones away.

4. Information we collect

The amount of information we hold is deliberately small and always connected to a real purpose. Broadly we collect three groups of data.

Identity and contact details

Your name, your company name, an email address, a telephone number and a postal address when you ask for a quote, book a visit or sign an order. This group lets us answer you and address an invoice.

Project information

Details you volunteer about a room or a venue. A description of the space, the number of seats, the light conditions and the content to be shown. We treat even this technical detail as confidential between you, the engineer and the scheduler.

Technical and usage data

When you use this website certain browsers and hosting records pass us small technical notes: an internet address, the type of device, the browser, the pages you open and rough timings. This group rarely identifies a single person on its own, but it is still personal data where a law says so, and we handle it the same careful way.

5. How we collect it

We collect information in two main routes. The first is direct and visible: you fill in the contact form on this site, you email mail@feimu.lat, you telephone +19062988703, or you hand a colleague your card at an installation site. In each of these you choose to give it to us.

The second route is automatic and quiet: our hosting and analytics receive technical records as you move through the pages. We describe the small tools behind that under cookies below, and you can control most of it from your own browser.

6. Cookies and similar tools

This site uses a minimum of trackers by design. A cookie is a tiny text file your browser saves to remember a choice. We rely on a couple of essential cookies so the site behaves reliably, and we try not to add marketing trackers unless you agree in a clear way first.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through a settings panel. If you switch them all off the pages still load; you may simply not keep a noted preference between visits. Server log records are kept short, held securely and reviewed only to protect the service from faults or misuse.

7. Why we use your information

Every item we hold has a job to do. We use your contact details to answer your inquiry, to prepare and send an estimate, to schedule an installation, to send a reminder about a maintenance visit and to settle an invoice. Without those details we could not run a service that depends on being where you are at the agreed time.

We use your project information to design the right system, to order the correct parts and to guide the engineer on the day. We use technical and usage data to keep the website fast, safe and working on your device. We never sell your details, and we never let an outside advertiser name you by using our lists.

You will notice that nowhere in our work do we ask for more than a plain chance to talk. A quotation needs a name and a place to send it, no more. An invoice needs the legal name required by local tax rules, and we leave the rest alone. When an extra field would make a form look thorough but serve no person, we omit it, because a short honest request earns more respect than a long polished one.

8. Legal bases for processing

Different pieces of data rest on different legal foundations, and we work to keep them fair. When you approach us for a quote our basis is the steps taken before you enter a contract. When you order a service our basis is the contract itself and the need to perform it.

Where we use data to protect the service or to meet a legal duty such as tax records, the basis is our legitimate interest or a compliance obligation. Where we ask for consent, for example where a local rule requires it for certain cookies, you can withdraw that consent at any time without penalty, and we will act on your choice promptly.

9. Who we share with

We share personal information only where the work truly needs it. Our web and email service providers see technical records to keep systems running; our accounting helper sees invoice details to file them correctly; and transport partners may see only a delivery address and a contact name when hardware travels to your venue.

We sign confidentiality obligations with each helper and we restrict them to the exact purpose we need. We do not sell or rent your data and we do not hand it to an unrelated firm for its own marketing. If the Company ever reorganises and a buyer takes on the business, your data moves only as part of the whole and the new owner keeps these rules.

10. Cross border transfers

The Company is registered in China and some service helpers operate servers in more than one country. As a result your information may be processed outside the place where you first shared it. Where that happens we rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, so your data keeps a level of protection similar to the one you enjoy at home.

If a specific duty requires legal review of a transfer, we arrange it before any data leaves. You can ask for a copy or a summary of the safeguards that apply to a particular piece of processing by writing to the address below.

11. How we protect your data

Protection starts with habit rather than a single bolt. Access to our systems uses separate account logins for each member of staff, and any record that names a customer opens only to the person who needs it. Passwords are long, rotated on a plan and never shared between staff.

Software on our own machines and on service helpers sits updated and scanned. Transmissions to and from this site run over an encrypted channel, and any backup that leaves a building is itself encrypted. Breaches are an attack we rehearse against: if one ever touches your data, we investigate, contain and tell you and any authority that requires notice, without hiding behind paperwork.

12. Retention periods

We erase personal information once its purpose is done. A simple inquiry that leads nowhere is tidied away after a reasonable period so we can still answer a follow up. A completed project keeps the records the law and a warranty call for, and then the file is closed and cleared.

Our retention clock runs from the last meaningful contact with you. As a guide, business records and invoices stay as long as accounting rules require, and mailing lists are pruned whenever a message bounces or you tell us you are done. We do not keep anything out of laziness; we keep it only while it has a lawful job.

Choosing when to delete is itself a small act of care. Delete too soon and a genuine customer is lost in the middle of a warranty window. Delete too late and a closed file keeps watching a quiet life it no longer serves. We steer a middle course, checking each month for records whose work is finished, and we treat a finished project much like the last reel of a film whose house lights are up: the show is over, and the room can be reset for the next audience.

13. Privacy for children

Our services are meant for businesses, venues and adults who manage a room. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this website does not try to attract young visitors with games or toys. If a child has sent us information by mistake we delete it as soon as an adult tells us, and we welcome that call.

Parents and guardians can write to us and ask us to remove any account or record they believe a child created. We confirm the adult status with a simple safeguard first, then act without delay. Schools we equip act as their own controllers for their students, and we support them but do not collect classroom data ourselves.

14. Your rights

A range of laws gives you rights over your own data, and we make them easy to use. You may ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You may ask us to correct it where it is wrong or out of date. You may ask us to erase it in the cases your law allows, and to limit processing while a dispute is settled.

Where we process on consent or on a contract you may ask for the data in a portable, machine readable form. Where the basis is our legitimate interest you may object, and we will weigh your objection honestly. To use any of these rights, follow the Contacting us about privacy section below; you will normally receive an answer within one month.

15. Your choices

Several choices belong entirely to you and need no letter from a lawyer. You can choose to answer an inquiry with a shared mailbox address rather than a personal one. You can ask us to call rather than email. You can book a visit without telling us anything you consider sensitive at all, because we design the room, and the room does not need your secrets.

You can also choose whom to trust. We hope you feel that FeiMu earns a second conversation. But you are always free to take your project elsewhere, and if you do we will hand your own data to you, close the file quietly and wish your screen well.

16. Marketing choices

We send marketing only to people who asked for it, for example a note about a new projection season or a maintenance reminder tied to your own equipment. Every marketing email we send includes a simple way to stop, and stopping affects only marketing, never the service messages we must send you about a real install.

Telephone numbers on our lists are updated whenever a customer says the wrong person is reached, and we remove a number without arguing. If we plan any measure that depends on your consent, we ask for it before we act and we record your answer so we can prove it later.

17. Links to other sites

This page occasionally points to partners such as an equipment maker or a standards body. Once you follow one of those links you leave our care, and the outside site sets its own rules about cookies and data. We choose partners we trust, but we cannot see or control their logs, so read their policies before sharing anything with them.

We add links because they help you understand or buy a system, not because a partner pays us to direct you. A link is a suggestion, not a promise that the partner shares our plain language or our high habits. For anything you type onto their pages you deal with them.

18. Security of our premises

Privacy lives not only in servers but on paper and in rooms. Project folders that name a customer are stored in a locked cupboard at our Jiujiang workplace, and laptops that carry a client list stay with a person, not in a vehicle. When hardware leaves for an install any packing list shows only a delivery address, never your story.

Our field engineers are trained to keep conversations quiet in a busy lobby and to shield a screen during a test. It is the same instinct that makes a projectionist wait for the audience to settle before the film begins: we protect the moment before it starts.

19. Changes to this policy

Privacy law and our own services change slowly, and so does this page. When we revise it we bump the effective date shown above this introduction, and if a change is more than cosmetic we flag it clearly when you next visit. Old versions are not buried; we can send you one on request.

We do not quietly slip in a new use of your data behind a revised sentence. If a future purpose would stretch beyond what this policy describes, we tell you first and, where the law needs it, we ask for fresh consent before we act.

20. Contacting us about privacy
